Qinghai- To have an overall popularization and enrichment of the safety knowledge of all staff and create a good safety culture，after meticulous preparation, a total of 10 teams participated in the "Ankang Cup" knowledge contest of Qinghai Group Coalification Company. The contest officially kicked off on June 28. The leaders of the Standing Committee and Safety Supervision Bureau of Ulan County were invited to attend the contest. Deputy managers Ma Yong, Xu Yangxin and Yuan Haiwei and assist manager Lu Junjie were present at the event and served as judges. About 300 staff representatives gave presence at the contest scene. 
    This time, the knowledge contest newly set a link named “safety glossary interpretation” on the basis of required questions for individuals, required questions for groups, quick response questions, risk questions and questions for audience. The contest featured extensive coverage, flexible questions and prominent emphases. The players were well prepared and full of energy. During the contest, all members of representative teams were calm and witty, and the contest scene was in extraordinarily fierce competition, winning applauses and cheers. Finally, coal preparation workshop team became the champion by its outstanding performance in each kink, followed by logistics department team and first coking workshop team.
    During the contest, a safe production scenario named Security Officer, which was written and performed by three employees of the company, was staged on. The scenario aroused the staff’s deep reflection on the importance of safety work with humorous dialogue and a gripping storyline while making them laugh.
    After the contest, Mr. Ma Yong made a concluding speech and put forwards clear requirements on the future safety work. Mr. Deng Yongsheng, standing committee member of the Party Committee of Ulan County, Director of United Front Work Department and Chairman of General Trade Union highly praise the holding of this activity. This contest further consolidated and deepend the employees’ grasp of safety knowledge, expanded the staff's safety knowledge, fully mobilized the staff’s enthusiasm and initiative to learn safety knowledge, and enhanced safety culture in an entertaining atmosphere. During Safety Month, various departments of the company carried out safety knowledge contests in succession as well as “safety” themed speech contests, fire drills, flood prevention drills, Safety Consultation Day and other activities. Currently, 8 exhibition boards produced during Safety Consultation Day on safety knowledge, accident cases, emergency hedge and other contents are still exhibited in workshops.
